For as long as I can remember, I’ve known I wanted to be a hairstylist. What started as a little girl's dream is now growing into something bigger than I ever could imagine.

As a licensed hairstylist specializing in effortless, lived-in color, I’ve built my career around the belief that beauty should feel natural and personal.

I’ve always believed that true beauty is so much more than what we see on the outside. God created each of us uniquely and intentionally in His image, and I think there’s something so special about embracing that individuality rather than trying to change it.

But if you know me, you know my love for creativity doesn’t stop behind the chair.

As I’ve grown in this industry, I’ve started to recognize something I wish more people talked about, the gap between graduating beauty school and actually feeling prepared to build a career.

I know firsthand how overwhelming those first steps can feel. There’s so much to learn beyond the classroom, and sometimes you don’t even know what questions to ask.

And that’s where Beyond Beauty School comes in.

I wanted to create something that would help bridge that gap. A place where new professionals can find guidance, grow their confidence, and feel a little less alone as they navigate this industry.

I realized I didn’t have to put all my ideas into one little box.

and that is what livedinlola has become now.

A home for everything I love about this industry. Artistry, education, creativity, and as Dolly Parton says maybe even a few things I haven’t dreamed up yet.
